The hall was designed by Clarence Luce, a Paris architect in the style of a medieval French château for pharmaceutical magnate George McKesson Brown. It has incredible overlooks of 34 acres of rolling land including a boathouse on the north shore of Long Island. This mansion now is often used for hosting wedding ceremonies and unique catered events. The wedding package at Coindre Hall for a Saturday during the on-peak season is $135 per person. The pricing differs based on the number of wedding guests invited and whether the event is on-peak or off off-peak season. There are discounts for other days of the week and off-season. The rental fee is $2500 for the reception, but there is a guest minimum of 125 for Friday and Sunday events and 150 guests minimum for Saturday events. The venue allows conducting the event for 5 hours, excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $1,000 per hour based on 100 guests.
