REMEMBER! 7 Things You MUST FORSAKE Before Getting Eyelash Extensions

If your eyelashes are thin and short and you want to give more emphasis to your pretty eyes, or if you want to have more abundant eyelashes within a certain period of time, you have the option to use false eyelashes or not. They are often and widely used especially during special events. They, however, last only for a short period of time. If you want something that beautifully lasts long, you might want and need to get eyelash extensions.

Basically, eyelash extensions are made for those who want thicker, darker and even more attractive lashes and also eyes. There’s a need to look for an eyelash clinic or any institution that offers eyelash extension services excellently. There are many and a lot of experts, but you must do your part as well. Keep in mind that for you to experience a successful process and achieve the best results, there are things that you must be careful with.

Below are 7 things that you must forsake–must not do and must not try–before having your lashes extended. Take them seriously because not following might lead to unfavorable outcomes:

[1] CURLING YOUR EYELASHES

You will undergo eyelash extensions application with high hopes that you will get even more stunning eyelashes, and that simple fact already tells you that there is no need for you to curl your lashes before you go to the salon/clinic. They need to be healthy and truly natural. You will get curly lashes, too, after the process, so don’t waste your time before coming, and don’t give the person doing the service a hard time.

[2] APPLYING MASCARA

As mentioned above, your eyelashes must be natural before extensions can be applied. Do not apply mascara. Keep them clean. Mascara makes the natural eyelashes stiff, and it can spread throughout the eye surface. The adhesive used to attach the eyelash extensions to the natural ones might negatively react, causing difficulty in sticking and eventually, falling off.

[3]  WEARING ACCESSORIES

Not directly about the eyes, but about the application, you have to remove any accessory that will be a big distraction or hindrance to you and to the experts during the process. For example, big and dangling earrings can make your ears hurt while you’ve been lying for long hours, especially if the earrings are indeed huge and full of bulky designs.

Even wearing necklaces is not necessary because they might just choke you, make your skin itchy, again, while you’ve been lying for long long hours. Don’t wear anything that would make you feel unnecessary pain and discomfort.

[4] WEARING MAKEUP

If you usually wear makeup near or around your eyes, forget about that if you want to avail of eyelash extensions services. Your skin needs to be healthy and natural so that the extensions can hang on well. You are doing yourself and the eyelash experts a favor because time can be saved well. It’s a good time to let your skin breathe too.

[5] APPLYING FACIAL CREAMS

Do not put sticky facial creams, especially on areas around your eyes. Of course, they make your skin smoother and moisturized, however, there’s no need for too much moisture because the eyelash extensions need adhesives. And for adhesives to stick effectively on your natural lashes, they need a healthy skin having just the right amount of moisture.

[6] WEARING UNCOMFORTABLE CLOTHES

Just like for accessories, clothes can present themselves as obstructions to a comfortable, stress-free and enjoyable experience. Wear simple clothes that won’t give you a challenging time but a safe and untroubled one.

[6] WEARING CONTACT LENSES

Contact lenses are used for clear eyesight purposes and for unique eye appearance, but you should not wear them during your eyelash extension application. You will have your eyes closed for an hour or more hours.

If you don’t know yet, it is not advisable for those who wear contact lenses to sleep with those. Well, that’s the same thing here. Do not wear contact lenses during the process because your eyes might get irritated and might lead to serious eye problems.

FORGET THEM.

Remember the things you have to do, and remember what you also need to forget before getting eyelash extensions, so that outcomes will be most pleasing! These reminders are not only for beautiful eyelash extensions but most especially, for your own convenience, health and safety.
