Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneshwar holds the KIITEE entrance exam for candidates seeking admission to its UG and PG courses in law and engineering. Approximately 1.5 Lakh candidates appear for this exam each year. KIITEE 2019 is expected to be held from April 15 to 24. It is a computer-based exam with application forms available online.
Registration for the KIITEE 2019 exam started on 16th Nov, 2018 with its last date of application being 31 Mar 2019. Slot booking for this exam can be done from the 1st to the 5th of April, 2019. The admit cards can be downloaded online on the 5th of April after the college makes an announcement regarding the availability. The exam dates are between April 15th and 24th. Results are expected to be declared on the 30th of April and the final counselling will begin from the 15th of May.
Out of the various courses offered under this entrance exam, the UG courses include B.Tech, B.SC Nursing, BA LLB, BBA and B.SC Computer Science to name a few. Syllabus and Exam Pattern
Some of the key subjects included in the KIITEE 2019 entrance exam syllabus include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and sometimes, Analytical Ability. Depending on the course that you are applying to, the subjects within this entrance examination will differ. It is very important for you to go through not only the subject list, but also understand the grading system within each subject. This is a multiple-choice question paper and all the questions are set in English.
Slot Booking and Admit Card
After the registration process, candidates must complete the slot booking process. It is important to book a slot for the exam via the institute’s official website. You will be required to login to the website using your applicant ID and also a password that is provided to you at the time of applying. If you miss booking a slot on the website, the institute will assign a slot for you, which cannot be changed. Post slot booking or slot assigning, the admit card will be made available for you to download from the KIITEE website. In case a candidate does not receive an admit card, he/she must inform the institute immediately and procure it before the test date. It is also mandatory for all candidates to not only provide their admit card at the time of the exam, but also preserves it till the counselling is over.
Results and Counselling
The KIITEE 2019 exam results are made available online and indicate a candidate’s performance in the entrance examination. Results come in the form of overall marks as well as ranking. A course-specific merit list is made available from the institute at the time of result declaration. The final round of counselling wherein the candidates who qualify can choose their preference of seats on the basis of their merit will be held after the results are announced.
