Google will unveil the second smartphones of the Pixel line – Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in October, which becomes the receiver of earlier manufactured corporations of Nexus smartphones. New smartphones will be sold for the same price as the seventh series iPhone, and is now characterized by experts as “killers” of smartphones from Apple.
The line of new smartphones will be presented by two models: Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Already those, in turn, will be divided into categories with 32 and 128 gigabytes of RAM, reports source. Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will differ from each other only with a diagonal of displays. The first model will have a diagonal of 5 inches and a resolution of Full HD, the second – by 0.7 inches more. It is noted that the older version of the smartphone will have a display larger under the diagonal than the iPhone 8 which will be presented in last quarter.
The work of both models will be carried out on the processor snapdragon 835. In addition, all versions will be running the latest version of Android 8.0Oreo. The main advantage of smartphones from Google experts call the camera. It has a resolution of 8 megapixels and 12, two-tone flash and autofocus laser system received the highest marks from reviewers of all the smart phones of its generation.
Google decided to adopt the pricing policy of Apple and launch its smartphones at similar prices. 699 dollars for the younger model and 770 for the senior. The date of the official release of smartphones has not yet been reported yet.
In the version 8.0 there are not so many changes. Main: the ability to send images and gif directly from the keyboard, support for night mode (Night Mode), which reduces the intensity of blue radiation and facilitates the process of going to sleep, as well as fast actions that are displayed by long clicking on the application icon (like 3D Touch in iOS 9).
According to the source, the integration of Pixel 2 solves many of the problems inherent in other Android-devices, including the fragmented versions and non-guaranteed updates to the OS. And since Pixel 2 is a stand-alone product of Google, the company guarantees prompt updates and no unnecessary software, the installation of which is often maligned by communication operators and manufacturers.
Google Pixel 2 is similar in many respects to the iPhone, but the main advantage over the Apple product is provided by the presence of Google Assistant – a new intelligent helper. To access it, you need to press the “Home” key or say aloud “Ok Google”. “Assistant” can work with any online services Google: from the search engine and mail Gmail to the calendar and photo storage. The more often a user accesses his services, the smarter the helper becomes.
